Rick Balboni
Meet Richard M Balboni Jr., a true South Windsor native and community advocate. With a deep connection to his hometown, Rick has made invaluable contributions throughout his life.
From his own schooling at South Windsor public schools and graduation from South Windsor High School (’88), to raising a family of his own with his wife Jackie, South Windsor has always been home. As proud owners of a local gym, Rick and Jackie have not only built a successful business, but have also had the chance to experience and support the town’s amazing programs and school system.
Drawing from his own experiences growing up, Rick understands the importance of community involvement. As a youth, he participated in various sports like football, basketball, baseball, and soccer, and later gave back by coaching Little League baseball. His religious upbringing also played a significant role, as he served as a Minister of the Eucharist at Saint Margaret Mary’s Parish, and later became a CCD teacher at the church.
Rick’s commitment to personal growth and preparedness is reflected in his achievements as an Eagle Scout of Troop 880. Living by the motto “Be Prepared,” he developed valuable skills and a strong sense of responsibility. Furthering his dedication to serving others, Rick served as a soldier in the Connecticut Army National Guard at Headquarters Company 1st-169th Infantry in the S2-S3 shop.
Now, Rick is ready to take his passion for his community to the next level. As a member of the Town Council, he aims to drive responsible growth while preserving South Windsor’s cherished small town atmosphere. With his wealth of experience and unwavering dedication, Rick is the ideal candidate to help shape the future of our town.
Vote for Rick Balboni Jr., the voice South Windsor deserves.
