Michael Ouellette
Town Council
Michael Ouellette
Raised in Tariffville, Mike graduated from Simsbury High School. He worked his way through college and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. For more than 30 years, he worked in sales and marketing with firms such as ADP, Workday, and UKG; today, he advises software startups.
Mike is deeply focused on preserving South Windsor’s rural character and farmland, managing residential growth responsibly, safeguarding the needs of elderly residents, and exploring creative ways to reduce spending without sacrificing services. In his time on the Planning & Zoning Commission, he spoke in favor of new senior housing overlay zones as a tool to balance development and fiscal pressure — calling such an approach “our best chance at saving the school system and saving our budget.”
His service on multiple boards and commissions, coupled with private sector experience, gives him a balanced perspective on governance. As a Town Councilor and candidate, Mike aims to bring common sense, fiscal stewardship, and a long-term vision to guide South Windsor into its next chapter.
