Matt Nettles
Matthew brings an analytical, solutions-driven perspective to the table. He studied Mathematics and Computer Science at Central Michigan University (1998–2002) and currently works as a Field Representative for Masco Support Services. His professional background has sharpened his ability to evaluate complex issues, manage resources effectively, and make data-informed decisions—skills he believes are critical for serving on the Board of Education.
Deeply committed to community service, Matthew and his family are active in South Windsor. His wife serves on the board of the nonprofit Lefty Cycles Project, and Matthew himself has volunteered in a variety of roles, including:
Room Parent in his children’s classrooms
Parent volunteer for South Windsor Bike Week
Parent volunteer for South Windsor Lacrosse
In addition, Matthew dedicates countless hours supporting his children’s extracurricular activities, from club soccer and competitive dance to club hockey. He understands firsthand how strong schools and strong programs shape well-rounded students and strengthen the community as a whole.
Matthew’s decision to run for the Board of Education comes from a passion for education and a desire to ensure South Windsor schools remain among the very best. He is committed to applying his analytical skills, community spirit, and parental perspective to help shape a strong and thriving future for all South Windsor students.
