Kenna Kimber
Kenna Kimber has been a resident of South Windsor since 2004 and has grown to love and be proud of this community over the past two decades. She is a dedicated mother of four and proud grandmother of five, with deep connections to her family.
Kenna is a strong advocate for volunteerism and is a shining example of dedication to improving the community. She currently serves as the President of the Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) at South Windsor High School. Prior to this role, she held leadership positions in various volunteer organizations, including President of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Philip R. Smith Elementary. Under her leadership, the PTO Board achieved impressive fundraising results and implemented innovative solutions. One of their most enduring successes was the Tiger Tracks Jog-a-thon fundraiser. Kenna has also provided guidance and consultation to other schools, including TEMS, in order to replicate the success of this fundraiser. Additionally, she played a crucial role in equipping classrooms with essential technology, such as Smart Boards, through PTO efforts.
Kenna’s unwavering passion is to shape South Windsor into a nurturing community for all families. She believes in the transformative power of education and is dedicated to supporting South Windsor students and their families. Her vision is that every student receives an education that empowers them to reach their full potential. As a member of the Board of Education for South Windsor, she hopes to continue contributing to this vision.
