Audrey Delnicki

Audrey, a lifelong resident of South Windsor, graduated from South Windsor High School in 1978. Over the years, she has actively served her community in various capacities. From 1996 to 1997, she diligently fulfilled her duties on the Zoning Board of Appeals, and from 1999 to 2018, she dedicated her time to the Inland Wetlands Conservation Commission.

Not only did Audrey contribute as an elected Constable from 1997 to 2015, but she also actively participated in the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, she was elected to the South Windsor Board of Education and subsequently appointed to the South Windsor Town Council in May 2018. Continuing her commitment to public service, she regained her position on the Town Council through the November 2019 elections, serving until February 2021 when she regrettably resigned due to family reasons.

Audrey firmly supports responsible growth, prioritizing the improvement of existing vacant buildings in the town. She recognizes the potential these properties hold and believes in engaging in meaningful conversations with their owners to discover how the town can assist in making them more attractive. If elected, she pledges to direct the Town Manager towards finding solutions for these properties, ultimately enhancing the overall appeal of South Windsor.

Additionally, Audrey highlights the importance of Route 5, a major roadway in South Windsor. She firmly believes in the necessity of making it more desirable and presentable to residents and visitors alike.
